The CCG submitted a proposal for an NSF Biological Research Collections grant at the end of July 2009 ($196,000). We are awaiting the results of the review. The proposal is to upgrade our frozen DNA collections infrastructure, which includes new -80ยบ freezers, Nanodrop, 2-d barcoding systems, gradutae student Curatorial Assistant position and other enhancements.
