Deep-Sea Workshop

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) hosted a Deep-Sea Coral Workshop in Portland, Oregon in January of 2010, in which curator Gary Williams was a participant and consultant regarding future planning of research and resource monitoring for the offshore regions from Washington State to southern California.  This is part of the Deep-Sea Coral Research and Technology Program of NOAA with a possible future federal goal of offshore marine spatial planning.
