Summer Systematics Institute

The Summer Systematics Institute (SSI) is a hands-on, collections-based, summer research program in evolutionary biology and an internship in biological illustration for undergraduate college/university students who are U.S. citizens or resident aliens.  SSI and Biological Illustration internships will be offered in summer of 2013.  The 2013 SSI and BI application period is now closed.  Information for next year's application period will be available in November of 2013.  

 

Biological Illustration Internship 2013

The internship is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students interested in developing illustration techniques related to biological specimens.

 

Advisors & Projects

Advisors and projects are available in the following research areas and centers:  Anthropology, Botany, Center for Comparative Genomics, Entomology, Herpetology, Invertebrate Zoology and Geology, and Ornithology & Mammalogy.
