Volunteering:
The
Department
of Anthropology welcomes volunteers who are channeled
to the department through the Academy's Volunteer
Services. Typically, volunteers work on specific research
projects with one of our staff members. If you are interested

Internships:
The
Department
of Anthropology accepts interns in collections management. The majority of our interns are affiliated
with graduate programs at local universities. These internships
are unpaid and usually count towards course credit. For

The
Traditional
Arts Program accepts a limited number of interns to
undertake ethnographic fieldwork in the Bay Area. For more
