A.) and Pitcairn Group, north to southern Japan and Ogasawara Islands (Japan), south to Western Australia, Lord Howe Island (Australia), New Caledonia, Tonga and Austral Islands (French Polynesia); eastern Mediterranean Sea (Red Sea immigrant). Habitat: marine.
