Lectotype: BMNH 1902.11.12.137. Paralectotypes: BMNH 1902.11.12.138 (1). Current status: Valid as Labeo annectens Boulenger 1903. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: Western-central Africa: southern Ca,eroon south to Angola, including Congo River basin. Habitat: freshwater.
