Type catalog: Ibarra & Stewart 1987:65 [ref. 12367]. •Valid as Liopropoma aurora (Jordan & Evermann 1903) -- (Randall & Taylor 1988:16 [ref. 6429], Mundy 2005:348 [ref. 28379], Randall 2007:199 [ref. 30952], Akhilesh et al. 2012:48 [ref. 32130], Parenti & Randall 2020:104 [ref. 37354], Esmaeili et al. 2023:220 [ref. 40327]). Current status: Valid as Liopropoma aurora (Jordan & Evermann 1903). Liopropomatidae: Liopropomatinae. Distribution: Central Pacific: Hawaiian Islands (U.S.A.). Habitat: marine.
