sufflavus, Urolophus Whitley [G. P.] 1929:354 [Australian Zoologist v. 5 (pt 4); ref. 4668] Between Port Hacking and Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, depth 40-70 fathoms. Syntypes: (11) AMS I.13805 (1), I.13806 (1). Based on specimens questionably identified as Urolophus aurantiacus by McCulloch 1916:172, Pl. 49 [ref. 4934]. •Valid as Urolophus sufflavus Whitley 1929 -- (Paxton et al. 1989:48 [ref. 12442], Kuiter 1993:20 [ref. 23929], Last & Stevens 1994:440 [ref. 23873], Last & Compagno 1999:1475 [ref. 24639], Compagno 1999:494 [ref. 25589], Yearsley & Last 2006:50 [ref. 28667], Paxton et al. 2006:201 [ref. 28994], Schwartz 2008:35 [ref. 36773], Weigmann 2016:160 [ref. 34211], Kyne et al. 2016:9 [ref. 34476], Yearsley & Last 2016:39 [ref. 34939] with remarks, Last et al. 2016:703 [ref. 35015]). Current status: Valid as Urolophus sufflavus Whitley 1929. Urolophidae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: eastern Australia. Habitat: marine.
