Additional material: BMNH 1933.2.23.404-405 (2, juveniles). •Valid as Haplochromis labiatus Trewavas 1933 -- (Greenwood 1973:197 [ref. 7566], van Oijen et al. 1991:135 [ref. 20956], Vranken et al. 2019:[5] [ref. 36730]). Current status: Valid as Haplochromis labiatus Trewavas 1933. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Lake Edward. Habitat: freshwater.
