Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: South Africa, East Africa, Seychelles, Comoros, Agalega Islands (Mauritius), western Mascarenes (La RĂ©union, Mauritius) and Maldives east to Hawaiian Islands (U.S.A.) and Pitcairn Group, north to Kagoshima Prefecture (southern Japan), south to Papua New Guinea, Chesterfield Islands and Loyalty Islands (New Caledonia). Habitat: marine.
