Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:309 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Euchilichthys royauxi Boulenger 1902 -- (Gosse 1986:114 [ref. 6194], Burgess 1989:198 [ref. 12860], Ferraris 2007:309 [ref. 29155], Skelton 2019:235 [ref. 36564], Kiselkewa et al. 2020:[9] 708 [ref. 38315]). Current status: Valid as Euchilichthys royauxi Boulenger 1902. Mochokidae: Chiloglanidinae. Distribution: Southern-central Africa: Congo River basin (Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola). Habitat: freshwater.
