students sharing notebooks

Dig deeper into the power of science notebooks in this intermediate-level workshop.

Have you tried using science notebooks with your students? Are you eager to add new skills to your notebooking repertoire and explore more ways to use them to support student learning? Do you want to hear about what other educators have tried with science notebooks?

This workshop is intended for educators who have had some experience using science notebooks with their students and are ready to learn more. You will try out more notebooking strategies and explore examples from your grade level. You will have a chance to share your notebooking successes and challenges, and to learn from the successes and challenges of your peers.

You do not have to be an advanced notebook expert to participate! However, you should have tried some science notebooking and be interested in continuing to grow your notebooking skills. We recommend that participants should meet at least ONE of the following requirements:

  • have attended our “Making the Most of Science Notebooks” workshop

  • have tried out some of strategies or lessons from the “Science Notebook Corner” website

  • have significant science notebook experience from other sources.
