Your non-profit organization can request up to four free general admission tickets per year for fundraising efforts.


To request admission to the Academy for your fundraising event, please complete an application by clicking on the link below. In an effort to be more sustainable, donation requests can only be submitted online. If approved, the tickets will be emailed to the address provided on the application. We appreciate your support of our mission.

The maximum donation available to each organization is four general admission tickets per year. California Academy of Sciences tickets are not for resale. Specialty Tours, Special Events, and Memberships are not available as part of our donation program. If approved, please allow two to three weeks to receive your tickets.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do the donation tickets expire? 
The tickets are good for one year from the date of the event listed on the application. Tickets cannot be extended if not used by the expiration date.

Can the tickets be used towards a membership, tour, or other event? 
As these tickets were issued for free they cannot be applied to any upgrades.

The fundraising event is for a for-profit organization, can I still get tickets? 
As it turns out we do not donate tickets to organizations without the status of 501c3.

May I give these tickets as a gift? 
The tickets are donated for fundraising efforts so must be associated with a fundraising event.
