Paratypes: MNHN. •Valid as Microphis nicoleae Haÿ, Mennesson, Lord & Keith 2023 -- (Haÿ et al. 2024:150 [ref. 41651]). •Valid as Lophocampus nicoleae (Haÿ, Mennesson, Lord & Keith 2023). Current status: Valid as Lophocampus nicoleae (Haÿ, Mennesson, Lord & Keith 2023). Syngnathidae: Nerophinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: West New Britain Island, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
