Holotype: MHNG 2799.022. Paratypes: CMK, ZRC. •Valid as Sewellia pudens Kottelat 2025. Current status: Valid as Sewellia pudens Kottelat 2025. Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: upper Xe Kaman drainage, Dakchung plateau, Sekong Province, Laos. Habitat: freshwater.
