Current status: Valid as Cetopsorhamdia ramirezi Cortés-Hernández & DoNascimiento 2025. Heptapteridae: Heptapterinae. Distribution: South America: Meta and Guaviare River drainages, Orinoco River basin, Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
