DIAGNOSIS
This large species of Dendroleontini has single costal cells throughout (uniareolate), an anterior Banksian line, and small dark crossband along the gradate crossveins. However, the most distinctive feature is the hind wings that are longer than the forewings.This distinctive species has crenulate (= undulating) hind margins to the wings and apices are pointed.

This species is found in forested areas along the east coast, most frequently at Ranomafana National Park.
