Green Bush Viper, Atheris squamiger*
Family Viperidae. This species is nocturnal, arboreal in bushy areas and along forest fringes. It is probably not a deep forest species but rather an inhabitant of disturbed habitats in BINP area.
Size: to 664 mm. TL
Habitat: partially arboreal in a wide range of disturbed habitats, forest edges, etc.
Range: Western Kenya through Uganda west to Cameroon and south to Angola.
