Striped Skink, Mabuya striata
Family Scincidae. This skink is not a forest species, but probably common on the periphery of BINP at elevations below 1600 m.
Size: to 200 mm. TL.
Habitat: frequently in open areas, and man-disturbed habitats, such as road banks, wood piles and downed trees.
Range: South Africa north to southern Angola, Uganda, Ethiopia and Somalia.
