H.] & Kottelat [M.] 2025:2, Figs. 1, 3a, 4a, 5a, 6 [Zoological Studies v. 64: 48; ref. 42490] Xe Noy at Keng Boua, upstream of Ban Dongmarfai, 6 km on road east then 1 km on track north, Xe Bangfai subdrainage, Mekong River basin, Xaybouli District, Savannakhet Province, Laos, 17°04'21"N, 105°03'27"E. Holotype: MHNG 2800.071. Paratypes: CMK, UMMZ, ZRC. •Valid as Glyptothorax carnatus Ng & Kottelat 2025. Current status: Valid as Glyptothorax carnatus Ng & Kottelat 2025. Sisoridae: Sisorinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: middle Mekong River basin, Laos (Nam Ou and Xe Bangfai watersheds) and Cambodia; probably also in adjacent watersheds in Thailand. Habitat: freshwater.
