It's
one of the most beautiful times of the year in the Bay Area, so why not spend
a little time outside? This book provides a guide to the Bay Area Ridge Trail,
and the trails that is covers include lengths of 3 to 13 miles and cover 188
completed miles of trail. A map is provided for each trip. The area included
covers the North Bay, Easy Bay, San Francisco, and Peninsula and South Bay.
Directions are provided to the sites, as well as information on who you might
be sharing the trail with: mountain bikers, walkers, horses, etc.
One really handy feature of the book is that the appendix includes lists of
places to see ocean views, wild flowers, those that have picnic locations on
them or nearby, and more.
