M.] 1930:75 [Annals and Magazine of Natural History (Series 10) v. 6 (no. 31) (art. 9); ref. 3545] Tauyskaya Bay near Ol'skiy Island, Okhotsk Sea, Russia, depth 108 meters. Lectotype: ZIN 22002. Paralectotypes: (13) UW 42965 (1) [ex UBC 62-417, ex ZIN 22002]; ZIN 21999-22001 (1, 1, 8); ZIN 52867 (1) [ex ZIN 22002]; one sent to Canada out of ZIN 22022 (whereabouts unknown); near Iony Island, 56°21'N, 138°17.5'E, Okhotsk Sea, 25-31 meters and 132 meters. Appeared in more detail based on different material in Soldatov and Lindberg 1930:326-327 [ref. 4164]. Also described in Popov 1931:87 [ref. 3543]. Lectotype selected by Mecklenburg & Sheiko 2003:3 [ref. 27295]; see also their discussion of types. •Valid as Cyclopsis tentacularis Popov 1930 -- (Lindberg & Legeza 1955:441 [ref. 2785], Ueno 1970:124 [ref. 26199], Sheiko & Fedorov 2000:31 [ref. 25650], Parin et al. 2002:S104 [ref. 28300], Mecklenburg & Sheiko 2003:3 [ref. 27295], Fedorov et al. 2003:92 [ref. 27579], Voskoboinikova & Nazarkin 2008:817 [ref. 30237], Voskoboinikova & Nazarkin 2009:39 [ref. 20325], Parin et al. 2014:305 [ref. 33547], Oku et al. 2017:54 [ref. 35060], Voskoboinikova & Orlovskaya 2020:8 [ref. 38114]). Current status: Valid as Cyclopsis tentacularis Popov 1930. Cyclopteridae: Eumicrotreminae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: Sea of Okhotsk. Habitat: marine.
