Paratypes: IOM 04439 (1), LACM 38506-1 (2). •Synonym of Cypselurus angusticeps Nichols & Breder 1935, but a valid subspecies as described. Current status: Synonym of Cypselurus angusticeps Nichols & Breder 1935. Exocoetidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Isla Guadalupe south to Todos Santos, Mexico [this subspecies]. Habitat: marine.
