Current status: Synonym of Schizopygopsis chengi (Fang 1936). Cyprinidae: Schizopygopsinae. Distribution: East Asia: Duoke River drainage, upper Yangtze River basin, Bama County, Qinghai Province, China [this subspecies]. Habitat: freshwater.
