luelingi, Hemigrammus Géry [J.] 1964:7, Fig. 5 [Beiträge zur Neotropischen Fauna v. 4 (no. 1); ref. 1580] Small creek connecting "Zapote Cocha" and "Caño Yarina", on edge of Río Pacaya, tributary of lower Río Ucayali, Peru. Holotype: ZFMK 1304. Paratypes: MHNG 2150.14-15 (2), ZFMK 1305 (1). Type catalog: Busse 1984:218 [ref. 28342], Herder et al. 2010:116 [ref. 31087]. •Valid as Hemigrammus luelingi Géry 1964 -- (Ortega & Vari 1986:8 [ref. 9708], Zarske & Géry 2002:26 [ref. 26553], Lima & Oyakawa in Reis et al. 2003:132 [ref. 27061], Barriga Salazar 2014:107 [ref. 35745], Lima et al. 2016:131 [ref. 34590], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:48 [ref. 35633], Meza-Vargas et al. 2021:18 [ref. 39298]). •Valid as Holopristis luelingi (Géry 1964) -- (Melo et al. 2024:28 [ref. 41541]). Current status: Valid as Holopristis luelingi (Géry 1964). Acestrorhamphidae: Thayeriinae. Distribution: South America: Amazon River basin (Peru, Ecuador and Colombia). Habitat: freshwater.
