microphthalmus, Schistura dabryi Liao [J.-W.] & Wang [D.-H.] in Liao, Wang & Luo 1997:4, Fig. 2 [Acta Academiae Medicinae Zunyi v. 20 (nos 2-3); ref. 28159] Hawk cave, ca. 26°53'N, 107°02'E, Weng'an County, Guizhou, China. Holotype: IHB 91x005. Paratypes: IHB 91x001-004 (4), 91x006-008 (3). Types are deposted at Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Department of Biology, Zunyi Medical College. •Synonym of Schistura dabryi (Sauvage 1874), but a valid subspecies microphthalmus Liao & Wang 1997 as described -- (Romero et al. 2009 [ref. 30522], Zhao et al. 2011:1552 [ref. 31493], Ma & Zhao 2012:111 [ref. 34891], Zhang et al. 2016:132 [ref. 34477]). •Valid as Triplophysa microphthalma (Liao & Wang 1997)-- (Kottelat 2012:128 [ref. 32367], Zhang et al. 2024:404 [ref. 41686]). Current status: Valid as Triplophysa microphthalma (Liao & Wang 1997). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: cave system, Weng'an County, Guizhou, China. Habitat: freshwater.
