C.] 2017:758, Figs. 2B, 5, 6 [Copeia v. 105 (no. 4); ref. 35694] Ressaca (wetlands) of Lago Jenipapo, Rio Aripuanã, Rio Madeira basin, Nova Aripuanã Municipality, Amazonas State, Brazil, 06°09'08"S, 60°13'29"W. Holotype: INPA 52541. Paratypes: INPA, LIRP. •Valid as Hemigrammus apiaka (Esguícero & Castro 2017) -- (Melo et al. 2024:23 [ref. 41541]). Current status: Valid as Hemigrammus apiaka (Esguícero & Castro 2017). Acestrorhamphidae: Pristellinae. Distribution: South America: Rio Aripuanã drainage, lower Rio Madeira basin, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
