Holotype: IHB 202204288316. Paratypes: IHB. Plus additional non-type material. Figs. 4, 6 and 9 mixed up. •Valid as Claea minibarba Zhang, Luo, Huang & Zhang 2024. Current status: Valid as Claea minibarba Zhang, Luo, Huang & Zhang 2024. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: middle and upper Chang-Jiang River basin, Hubei Province, southern China, Habitat: freshwater.
