Holotype: NMK ICH FW/6014/1. Paratypes: NMK ICH FW/6013/1-2 (8). •Valid as Nothobranchius sylvaticus Nagy, Bellstedt & Luke 2025. Current status: Valid as Nothobranchius sylvaticus Bellstedt, Nagy & Luke 2025. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: East Central Africa: southeast Kenya. Habitat: freshwater.
