Current status: Valid as Triplophysa xiuwenensis Zhu, Zhang & Yuan 2025. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: underground system, upper Wujiang River drainage, Yangtze River basin, Guizhou Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
