Paratypes: SAIAB. •Valid as Amphilius engelbrechti Mazungula & Chakona 2021. •Valid as Anoplopterus engelbrechti (Mazungula & Chakona 2021) -- (Skelton & Page 2025:319 [ref. 42499]). Current status: Valid as Anoplopterus engelbrechti (Mazungula & Chakona 2021). Amphiliidae: Amphiliinae. Distribution: Southern Africa: Inkomati River basin, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
