Paratypes: (17) ASIZP, DOS, NMMBP. •Valid as Luciogobius opisthoproctus Chen & Liao 2024. Current status: Valid as Luciogobius opisthoproctus Chen & Liao 2024. Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: northeastern and southeastern Taiwan. Habitat: brackish.
