B.] & Ronco [F.] 2024:7, Figs. 3b, 5 [Journal of Fish Biology Early view; ref. 41802] Lower Lufubu at Chomba village, about 30 km above confluence with LakeTanganyika, Nsumbu National Park, Northern Province, Zambia, -8.6859°, 30.5644°, elevation 815 meters. Holotype: NMBA 6475 [ex UNIBAS-IC-USG9]. Paratypes: (18) AMNH, BMNH, NMBA, MRAC, SAIAB, ZSM. •Valid as Telmatochromis salzburgeri Indermaur, Schedel & Ronco 2024. Current status: Valid as Telmatochromis salzburgeri Indermaur, Schedel & Ronco 2024. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: lower Lufubu River drainage, northern Zambia. Habitat: freshwater.
