Paratypes: ANSP 211262 (12); KIZ 2016003097-3105 (9); ZFMK 106376-85, 92-93 (12). •Valid as Vanmanenia kunfengae Endruweit 2025. Current status: Valid as Vanmanenia kunfengae Endruweit 2925. Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Gam River drainage, upper Red River basin, Yunnan (China). Habitat: freshwater.
