scitula, Schistura Kottelat [M.] 2026:86, Figs. 1-6 [Revue Suisse de Zoologie v. 133 (no. 6); ref. 43341] Upper Nam Gnouang [Nam Ngouang], Houay Khon, a tributary of Nam Nong [Nam Heung], immediately upstream of their confluence, about 800 m upstream of Ban Sopkhon, Nam Kading Watershed, Mekong basin, Laos, 18°41'06"N, 104°45'35"E, elevation 541 meters. Holotype: MHNG 2807.071. Paratypes: CMK 27781 (8), 27796 (1), 27802 (2), ZRC 69045 (2). •Valid as Schistura scitula Kottelat 2026. Current status: Valid as Schistura scitula Kottelat 2026. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Nam Kading drainage, middle Mekong River basin, Bolikhamsai Province, Laos. Habitat: freshwater.
